The participating nations are Congo Brazzaville, Congo DRC, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Ethiopia, Tunisia and Gabon.
Kenya’s number one, Ismael Changawa Mzai, has reported to camp to bolster the host’s chances of a top podium finish.
The format of play will see players grouped into a draw to compete till Friday when the team competition will be played for the remaining time.
Referee Patrick Kamuhia will be on draw duty at the Ngong Hills Hotel come 6:00pm in the presence of Confederation of African Tennis
(CAT) representative Issem Essais.
